2024 was a year of growth and celebration for Sue Carson Saddles. We expanded our saddle range with the launch of two innovative new dressage saddles. Our talented team of horses achieved some impressive results with multiple Area Festival wins and championship placings. - Gold Package: Ideal for most horses, this plan provides four refits per year aligning with the Society of Master Saddlers (SMS) recommendation to have your saddle refitted every three to six months as general maintenance.
- Platinum Package: Perfect for horses in rehabilitation or recently backed, this plan offers more frequent refits for optimal comfort and adjustability.

NEW SADDLES
Over the course of 2024, we dedicated ourselves to crafting two exceptional dressage saddles in collaboration with our team of expert manufactures and a variety of riders.
The
Lincoln is an ultimate high-performance dressage saddle delivering an ultimate close contact feel thanks to it's unique flap design which allows the rider greater engagement with the horse. Combined with our refined seat design and enhanced weight-distributing air flocked panel, in conjunction with the unique flap design it ensures optimal comfort and performance for both horse and rider.
This saddle is loved by many dressage riders already, with many positive reviews from riders of all levels both in the USA 🇺🇸 and UK 🇬🇧, highlighting the increased intimacy between horse and rider.
The
Statesman is our newest model of dressage saddle, designed in collaboration with Canadian Olympic Dressage rider, Naima Moreira-Laliberte. Featuring a deep, well balanced and centralising seat to ensure maximum stability and comfort keeping the pelvis in an upright seat position, allowing the rider to sit back from the horses shoulders, in turn accommodating greater freedom of movement and more expressive paces. Named after Naima's Olympic ride, this saddle made history as our first to grace the Olympic stage!

PRODUCT OF THE MONTH
We are starting 2025 with an all new
Product of the Month feature on our social media channels. Every month, our team will hand-pick one of our favourite products to share with you!
This new feature has kicked off with the Catago Hybrid Training Saddlecloth. The Training Saddlecloth is a perfect tack room essential, whether you are lunging into the new year or want a piece of equipment to help out on lunge days this one is for you!
Featuring adjustable elastic straps with snap buckle fastenings, covered in plush fabric for optimum comfort. These straps sit under the belly and behind the hindquarters. The resistance band effect of these straps works the back and abdominal muscles of your horse, promoting improved movement and balance from a correct way of going.
Part of Catago's Hybrid Collection, this saddlecloth uses a Graphene print on the lining fabric, which provides an array of benefits. Graphene has excellent thermal conductivity and enables the fabric to act as a filter between the body and the external environment, thereby ensuring the ideal temperature for your horse. It dissipates excess body heat in hot climates, and preserves body temperatures in cold climates. It also offers a very high strength-to-weight ratio making lightweight fabrics very strong, ensuring it keeps it's shape over time and is also antic-static!
