Julie Harris has the most stunning stable of horses, all very different with very different needs...
Here is what she has to say...
'I have a Warmblood working at inter2 was difficult to fit as he has a long hind leg and shunted the saddle forward in canter
As Sue is able to alter the saddle making it lower at the back
This stops any movement that occurs during movement and he works well in it.
Both of my youngsters have been started in a SCS
They were fitted to them prior to breaking so they would have the best start Possible. Plus these saddles can be altered easily as they mature and grow.
Lastly my PRE it was recommended to me by the lady at BAPSH on registration that I used a flair saddle as the breed are short in the back and it helps them to come up through the back.
Lastly my old horse now retired had kissing spines but was ridden up until 2 years ago in a SCS the flair helped him compensate for the arch/dip in his back and we completed until he was 22 to medium.
We had tried 5 other makes of saddle prior to the SCS saddle and all caused problems'
