  • Maintaining Fit

Whilst every effort is made to ensure a good fit, please bear in mind that horses do change shape. The time of the year, the age of the animal, the work being done; even a change of home or rider may considerably alter the way that the saddle fits. We suggest that it is good stable management to monitor this on an ongoing basis and to check for any signs of discomfort to your horse.

The shape of your horse should be monitored as part of your weekly care routine and early signs of shape change can be noticed.

Horses can change shape from week to week particularly if they are undergoing rehab from injury, or have a change in feed or routine. The onus is on you to detect this early and notify us so that we can refit quickly.

We are pleased to care for and maintain your saddle however It is your responsibility to arrange a regular refit; we will endeavour to send you a reminder letter. If you have any worries about the fit, we are always happy to discuss them with you.
